What you'll do
- Help people with personal care: washing, bathing, dressing, continence care and getting up or ready for bed.
- Support people with their medicines, once you're trained and signed off as competent.
- Make meals and drinks, do a little housework, and run the odd errand.
- Be good company, and notice when something isn't right.
- Record each visit on our care app, so families and colleagues are kept in the loop.
What we offer
- Paid travel time between visits, and mileage for every mile.
- Short rounds, grouped close to where you live.
- Regular clients, so you get to know the people you visit.
- No 15-minute personal care calls.
- Paid induction and training, including the Care Certificate, then diplomas if you want to progress.
- Rotas planned in advance, part-time or full-time.
- Workplace pension, and support from a manager who picks up the phone.
What you'll need
- Kindness, patience and reliability. Experience is welcome but not essential.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A full driving licence and access to a car, as our area is rural.
- To pass an enhanced DBS check and provide two references.
