Upper Eden, close to our base
Kirkby Stephen is about nine miles south-east of Appleby as the crow flies, at the head of the valley where the River Eden comes down from Mallerstang. Warcop, Sandford and Great Musgrave are only a few miles from us and sit on our daily rounds. Kirkby Stephen, Brough and the villages beyond are visited by arrangement, usually for longer or regular visits, so carers aren't rushing between calls on the A66 and A685.
Villages we visit in Upper Eden

Rural homes, winter roads
Many of the people we visit in Upper Eden live in farmhouses and outlying cottages where the next neighbour is a field away. We plan for that: carers know the lanes, we plan winter rounds ahead of snow on the higher roads, and we'll agree with you and your family what happens if bad weather makes a visit late.
What we can help with
Personal care, medication support, meals, help around the house and company, plus extra support after a stay in hospital. Visits start at 30 minutes, and everything is written into a care plan you agree with us first. Our prices are on the fees page.
