What "by arrangement" means
Home care works best when carers don't spend their day on the road. That's why our daily rounds stay within about 7 miles of Appleby, and why we pay carers for every mile and minute of travel.
Further out, in Penrith, Kirkby Stephen, Brough, Shap and the villages between, we can usually help when visits can be grouped together or are longer, such as a morning visit of an hour or more, or regular visits on the same days each week. We'll be straight with you about what we can reliably cover before anything starts.
Further afield, in places like Kendal, Alston or Sedbergh, we're unlikely to be the right fit. Call us anyway: we'll point you to services that can help.
